In a joint venture with DMK Incorporated, Atlas Senior Living is breaking ground on its new community Legacy Reserve Venice today. Legacy Reserve will be the first Atlas community in Venice and the fourth in Florida.
The 167-unit community will consist of 114 independent living, 38 assisted living, and 15 memory care residences, located at the intersection of Haul and Laurel Road. Atlas expects the community to open in 2021.
“We are excited to bring this upscale environment to seniors and families in the Venice area,” said Carol Brinegar, Senior Operations Director of New Construction for the community. “Residents are going to experience an unconventional way of senior living with modern floor plans, spacious common areas, picturesque settings, different dining venues, and passionate service.”
Legacy Reserve Venice will have an appearance and atmosphere that complements the local architecture and culture of its area. Similar to other Legacy Reserve Atlas communities, Legacy Reserve Venice will offer amenities for active and engaged seniors such as Freedom Dining, Academy Lifestyles, and the SPIRIT Memory Care program.
Freedom Dining provides residents healthy and delicious chef-developed meals at an on-site restaurant with flexible hours rather than scheduled dining times. Academy Lifestyles is an educational program with local speakers such as artists, musicians, authors, and more to educate and inspire residents. SPIRIT is a memory care program with an individualized focus, learning each resident’s story to provide their preferred lifestyle in a loving environment.
