“It’s been wonderful every time we have visited at the Goldton. I have made unannounced drop ins while searching for the perfect place for my mom’s new home and have ALWAYS been impressed. “

Three years ago, when my wife and I began our research into Assisted Living Facilities in Maury and Williamson Counties we toured thirty properties with very definite ideas of what we wanted. The facility at 3056 Miles Johnson Parkway in Spring Hill, TN was the only one that met our specific requirements with regard to size of apartment, layout of apartment and size of the rooms including size of the closet. The overall facilities from the dining room to the entertainment rooms were ideal for our comfort and needs. After my wife passed away two years ago, I elected to remain in my apartment and enjoy the comfort and caring of the staff and the benefits of such a well-run and efficient facility. The staff at the Goldton are a very caring and dedicated group of people from the Executive Director, through the other Department Heads to the Caregivers, and the Nursing Staff, and the Dining Room Staff, with extremely dedicated staff in the Memory Care Unit. I feel very much at home here at the Goldton in Spring Hill and have the feeling of being an important member of a very close-knit family.

My family is so very grateful for the Goldton and the team of people that manage and care for this beautiful facility. During a time of transition for our family, we felt supported and loved as our precious parents, Jerry and Ann Peek, needed more support and help than we could offer. We were treated like family, and we are forever grateful for all they have done for us. Our parents even celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary at The Goldton! I recommend the Goldton to families going through challenges with an aging parent or even as an option for someone that needs more of a community setting. The residents and staff have created a beautiful place to live and call Home.

Forever grateful, Kyle Peek, son

Rita, an independent woman was living on her own since her husband passed 17-years ago. She had tours of several assisted living facilities in the surrounding area but kept coming back to The Goldton at Spring Hill. She liked the atmosphere, the staff, and somehow it already felt at home. She moved in with her little dog Phoebe, enjoyed amazing dining experiences each day, and was able to socialize with others in the same position she was in. She was so excited one day and called me to say she was sorry, but I can’t go out with you today. We are going to the Elephant Sanctuary, and I have always wanted to go, so I am going! As Mom’s dementia progressed, she found such comfort in the more intimate memory care environment. A person who has dementia can be a challenge to assist, support and guide. The staff are awesome in their kindness, their love and compassion, and their patience. They always have sweet smiles and a caring attitude when I see them, pictures to send to me of mom on a day they helped her put her makeup on, or just to help her call me so she can hear my voice.

To all of the Goldton staff, thank you for everything you do for my momma!

I am so thankful for The Goldton at Spring Hill. As an only child, I was completely overwhelmed with my mom’s aging since my dad passed a couple of years prior to her moving there. She lived alone in Memphis, the only place she has ever lived before moving to Spring Hill at The Goldton. It was just one thing after another, a couple of falls, a wreck with a completely totaled car (have no idea how she walked away with a bruise), and then “the big thing” a broken foot from a fall that required surgery. She had to spend almost three months at Skilled Nursing Facility in Memphis. After that, it was clear that she no longer wanted to live alone and I couldn’t do it three hours away. With a full-time job that requires travel, a husband, two teenagers, friends, hobbies, and the pursuit of a doctoral degree, I really didn’t know what to do until I found The Goldton. She has literally gotten five years younger since moving to The Goldton! She loves the activities and “family” that she has found there. I took her back to Memphis for Christmas to see her sister and friends and they all commented on how much better and happier she looked. This place has been an answered prayer for me and my family! I can’t highly recommend them enough. This is exactly what the name implies: an assisted LIVING facility! I know that she is living her best life there and it makes me so thankful!

First of all , I would like to say that there are so many staff members that go above and beyond caring for the Goldton residents. Unfortunately, I don’t know the names of everyone. Some that I know that are good to my Mother are Gina and Gretchen at the front desk. They both care about the residents. I can always call and check in with questions or concerns. Nene and Christy are very kind and patient helping my mother with daily goals. They always let me know if she needs anything. Jeanie and the nursing staff are always on top of medications and medical concerns. The dining room staff are always very kind when I am there during meals. Last but not least, Donna is always very helpful whenever we have any questions and concerns. I can honestly say that my Mother is in very good hands everyday!! Thank you to everyone at the Goldton for doing such a great job.

Sincerely, Alison Ewing.

My mother had to leave everything behind at age 95. The life with her husband of 72 years, their beautiful mountain home in Maryland. Her precious friends and belongings. Such huge transitions can be disastrous. When forced with the limits a body can endure, decisions become limited. Fortunately, her mind is sharp and her will determined. Mothers advocates are her 3 children. All of us protect and respect her choices. She has determined when to stop driving, what to do with her finances, when to give in and when hold on. In my search as the oldest daughter to relocate mom, I found The Goldton of Spring Hill. Living only 2 miles away I had always been attracted by the building and the grounds. Visiting the facility for 4 months prior to her arrival was a joyful and authentic experience. Working with the Executive Director, Donna S., was easy, comfortable and fun. Her grasp of our particular needs exceeded all expectations. Now, over 1 year later, our mother has thrived and been safe in her apartment home. We spend time with all the staff and residents on every visit. The social activities are fun and always refreshing. The community is the best choice for our mother. I believe it can be for your loved ones too.

Dear Donna, Just want to express how happy I am with Jennifer as the Activities Director. Mom is really thriving at the Goldton, despite her adjustments to her heath and abilities. The social environment is excellent as Mom continues to make more friendships. The crafts are more fun. Stimulating topics of interest have been added. I can't thank you and the staff enough for the care and support they all show daily.

Great Job!!! You are appreciated!
