Atlas Senior Living is one of the fastest-growing senior living companies with the addition of seven more retirement communities to their portfolio in December. The communities will be under a third-party management contract with Atlas and a large institutional owner of senior housing properties.
Atlas will take over former Brookdale communities in Clermont, Ocoee, and Oviedo, Fla., as well as Macon, Woodstock (2), and Lithia Springs, Ga.
The Fla. communities provide assisted living and memory care services. In Ga., Macon’s community offers memory care, and the three in Woodstock and Lithia Springs provide personal care home and memory care services.
Atlas closed on the first four communities Dec. 1 (Clermont; Ocoee; Oviedo; and Macon) and the remaining three (Woodstock (2) and Lithia Springs) on Dec. 15.
Totaling 425 units, the communities will be revamped to operate under the company’s signature programs like Freedom Dining, The Academy and the SPIRIT Memory Care Program.
“Atlas’ growth this year could not have happened without the continuous excellence that has been exhibited by our corporate and community level teams for our residents, their families and all our associates,” said Scott Goldberg, President and CEO. “We will continue to show that same excellence as we move forward in these new markets for Atlas.”
