GEORGETOWN, TX — Spring doesn’t officially arrive until March 20, but doors at The Oscar at Georgetown already display bright wreaths and cheerful designs made by residents who couldn’t wait for warmer weather.
The Georgetown senior living community hosted a spring craft session where residents created door décor featuring seasonal colors and designs. Each door now shows handmade pieces welcoming the new season.
The craft activity gave residents a hands-on project while decorating the community with reminders that warmer days are approaching.
“Residents love art and made beautiful Spring door décor to highlight the upcoming season,” said Carol Brinegar, Executive Director at The Oscar at Georgetown, as well as management company Atlas Senior Living’s Vice President of New Acquisitions and Operations Specialist. “We love to showcase resident talent throughout the community! Friendship, laughter, and wonderful conversation, ending with a beautiful outcome! Definitely a nice reminder that Spring is on the way!”
Local media are invited to speak with The Oscar leadership about how spring craft activities let seniors create seasonal decorations for their community.
