Netta Page

Netta Page Resident of the Month

Netta was born and raised in New Mexico and had a love of the southwest. She was married for 42 years dad were and they had 2 daughters. She also has 2 granddaughters and a great granddaughter.
Netta’s husbands job gave the family the opportunity to move to various states and even Canada throughout his career. Ms. Netta was a homemaker and quick to make friends wherever we lived. She was always involved in church work, sewing, and quilt groups. When she could not quilt anymore, she started knitting. She was also a good cook and often baked cookies to give to other people.

Ms. Netta did a lot of camping, and gardening with her husband before he passed away. She loved to walk for exercise and has always been a very active person and likes to keep busy. Thank you Ms. Netta!

What is high blood pressure?
High blood pressure, (also referred to as hypertension), is when your blood pressure, the force of blood flowing through your blood vessels, is consistently too high.
High blood pressure is a ‘silent killer.’
Most of the time there are no obvious symptoms. Certain physical traits and lifestyle choices can put you at a greater risk for high blood pressure. When left untreated, the damage that high blood pressure does to your circulatory system is a significant contributing factor to heart attack, stroke and other health threats.

Preventing and managing high blood pressure
This is one time that the old adage, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” is particularly apt. It’s best to avoid high blood pressure altogether. Healthy lifestyle choices are a great place to start. With proper treatment and management, you can control your blood pressure to help you live a longer and healthier life.

Arches

There are 2,000 natural sandstone arches, hundreds of soaring pinnacles, massive rock fins, and giant balanced rocks

Arches

National Park

This region has the highest concentration of stone arches anywhere in the world

Arches

Double O Arch

The second largest arch within the Devils Garden area. As the name implies, there are two arches here, one large, with a
span of 71 feet, stacked atop a much smaller arch with a 21-foot span. It was formed by downward water erosion from atop the sandstone, rather than from side-to-side water erosion.
