Our October resident of the month is Marjorie Veasey. Marjorie moved into Legacy Ridge in January of 2024. She was born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia which she states is known as

 “The Star City of The South”.  There is a huge star that sits upon Mill Mountain and lights up at night. She and her late husband Steve, married for 41 years, have 2 daughters and 1 son. She has 7 grandchildren whom she adores. She has enjoyed many cruises with her family to foreign ports like Russia, The Caribbean and Alaska to name a few. In her free time, she enjoys playing games on her iPad. Marjorie is an absolute joy to be around and her loving spirit is contagious. We are blessed to have her as a part of our Legacy family.
