Old Town Community Will Open Assisted Living and Memory Care in November
The newest upscale retirement community in the Old Town area will be opening its doors soon for assisted living and memory care residents.
Why are Assisted Living and Memory Care important?
In addition to independent living, which is for seniors who are still able to live on their own but would prefer occasional help with chores and access to medical services, assisted living residents need frequent contact with caregivers and medical professionals. Your loved one may require more secure memory care if he or she has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and/or dementia.
What Specifically Do We Provide?
Having been open for independent living seniors since September, Legacy Reserve at Old Town will be ready to start moving in assisted living and memory care residents in November 2020.
Services for assisted living and memory care residents include:
- Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
- Certified state medication assistants on-site 24/7
- Medication administration and management
- Emergency response system
- Minimal transfer assistance
- Associates on-site 24/7
- 24/7 specially trained memory care associates
- Brain fitness and memory enhancement programs
Legacy Reserve’s benefits include recreational programming, picturesque walking trails, fun get-togethers under COVID-19 precautions, unique amenities, and more with a variety of floor plan options. Move-in coordination services will be offered for new residents.
What Does One Team Member Have to Say?
“We look past the physical limitations and encourage seniors to pursue what matters in life,” said Kerry Jo Brooks, Sales and Marketing Director. “It is an honor to open our doors and extend our passionate service to folks who require assisted living or memory care.”
How Have We Adapted to Current Health Guidelines?
The community is following all COVID-19 restrictions such as wearing masks, wearing PPE, social distancing, and continuous sanitation and cleaning services while continuing to provide engaging senior activities and events.
