Associate of the Month
Courtney S

Heart, Energy, and a Whole Lot of Love
For our July Associate Spotlight, we’re thrilled to feature Courtney S, a dedicated and vibrant member of the Wildcat Senior Living team who has been with us for two years.
Courtney brings warmth, positivity, and endless energy to everything she does. Her love for our Wildcat residents shines through daily—she often says they feel like her second family, and it’s clear they feel the same way about her. Whether offering a helping hand or sharing a laugh, Courtney’s presence brightens every room she walks into.
At home, Courtney has a full and joyful life with her fiancé and their six-year-old triplets—Skylar, Sierra, and James. She’s also a proud dog mom to two adorable pups, Madden and Maddie. Family time is everything to Courtney, and she loves spending her days off at the pool or finding fun outings for her energetic crew.
If you see her at work, chances are she’ll have an Alani energy drink in hand and a big smile on her face. We’re so lucky to have Courtney as part of the Wildcat team. Her compassion, energy, and dedication make her a true gem—and we appreciate everything she does for our community!
Freedom Folk
Alexa play "Masters of War" from "Bob Dylan"

A scathing antiwar protest song from 1963, stripped down to voice and guitar. Dylan’s lyrics pulled no punches, making it a rallying cry for peace during the Cold War and the Vietnam era. From his second album, The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan.
Folk music gave America its voice of protest and unity. Rooted in tradition, it flourished in times of change—speaking out against war, injustice, and inequality with acoustic guitars and powerful words.
Rock & Roll
Hall of Fame
Alexa play "All Along the Watchtower" with "Jimi Hendrix"

Hendrix transformed Bob Dylan’s folk ballad into an electric storm. With layered guitars and powerful vocals, it became a defining anthem of the Vietnam era and a staple of psychedelic rock. The year was 1968, and the album was Electric Ladyland.
Father's Day, the Wildcat Way!
Wildcat Senior Living celebrated Father’s Day in true summer style with a festive poolside cookout that brought residents, families, and staff together for an afternoon of fun, food, and appreciation. It was a perfect way to honor the incredible dads and father figures who are part of our community.
The grill was fired up with all the favorites—burgers, hot dogs, and classic BBQ fare—accompanied by fresh sides, cold drinks, and plenty of sweet treats. The relaxed poolside setting, warm sunshine, and cheerful atmosphere made the day feel like a true summer getaway.
Adding a personal and thoughtful touch, our Life Enrichment Director, Gail, handed out custom trophies to each of the dads, labeled with their names. These keepsakes were a heartfelt way to recognize and celebrate each resident individually, and the smiles they sparked were unforgettable.
Of course, no Father’s Day would be complete without great company. Families mingled, stories were shared, and laughter echoed throughout the afternoon, reminding us all of the importance of connection and gratitude.
At Wildcat Senior Living, celebrating life’s special moments—especially those honoring our residents—is what we do best. Here’s to the dads who continue to inspire, lead, and love every day.
Welcome to the United States of America

June’s “Around the World with Atlas” Celebration: Viva Perú!
At Wildcat Senior Living, June’s Around the World with Atlas program whisked residents away on an exciting cultural adventure to Peru! This engaging monthly program brings the sights, sounds, and flavors of different countries to our community, and June’s spotlight on Peru was a truly vibrant experience.
Throughout the month, residents participated in themed activities that highlighted the beauty and traditions of Peruvian culture. From armchair travel sessions and lively trivia games to colorful crafts inspired by Peru’s rich heritage, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
The grand finale of the month was our Friends & Family Dinner, where residents, their loved ones, and staff gathered to enjoy an authentic Peruvian feast. The menu featured traditional favorites like Chupe de Camarones (shrimp soup), Peruvian-style chicken with Aji Verde sauce, Papas a la Huancaina, yucca fries, Peruvian quinoa with vegetables, and a delightful variety of churros for dessert. The evening was filled with laughter, connection, and the spirit of celebration.
We love bringing the world to our residents, one country at a time. Thank you to everyone who made June’s Peruvian journey so memorable—and stay tuned for where we’re heading next in Around the World with Atlas!
July: Celebrating America with Around the World with Atlas
In July, Wildcat Senior Living is excited to continue our Around the World with Atlas program with a celebration close to home—right here in the United States of America! This month, we’ll explore the rich diversity, culture, and spirit of our great nation through engaging activities, creative crafts, and meaningful moments with our community.
Residents will enjoy armchair travel experiences that take them across America—from the sunny beaches of California and the charm of the Deep South, to the bustling streets of New York and the natural wonders of our national parks. Each journey will include stories, history, and fun facts about the places that make America unique.
Our celebration will culminate with a special Friends & Family Dinner event on July 16th and 17th, where residents, loved ones, and staff will come together for an unforgettable evening. Guests will enjoy live music and a delicious menu inspired by regional dishes from across the country. Think Southern BBQ, New England clam chowder, Midwest classics, and sweet treats that celebrate American traditions.
We’re looking forward to honoring the beauty and diversity of the USA with our Wildcat community. Red, white, and blue never looked so festive—don’t miss it!

Resident of the Month
Joyce L

A Life Full of Adventure and Heart
For our July Resident Spotlight, we proudly celebrate Joyce L, an Independent Living resident whose rich life story and warm personality bring joy to everyone at Wildcat Senior Living.
Joyce was born on June 29th in Arkansas and has led a life full of movement and adventure. Over the years, she has called many places home—from Wyoming to Boulder, Colorado, Idaho, Oklahoma, Texas, and Washington. Her journey has been marked by love and family. Joyce married for the first time at just 15 years old, a marriage that lasted seven years and blessed her with a son and a daughter. Today, she cherishes her two granddaughters who bring her endless happiness. Her second marriage, to Bill Losh, lasted over three decades in Spokane and Newport, Washington. Joyce’s third husband, Delvin Tucker, was a genuine cowboy who lived on a farm. Together, they shared many adventures including camping trips and an incredible drive to Alaska. Joyce fondly recalls how she preferred driving over flying because she didn’t realize it never got dark there — even at 11:30 PM, the sun was still shining! She treasures photos of Mount McKinley and memories of spotting bears, deer, and elk along the way.
Joyce has been passionate about horses since she was 14, riding through trails well into her 70s. One horse, a buckskin named Blue, held a special place in her heart — known for his playful spirit; he would always run around the corral but stop just to rest his head on her shoulder.
Outside of horseback riding, Joyce enjoys camping, fishing, crocheting, knitting, sewing, and caring for her dogs and cats. As the fifth person to move into Wildcat Senior Living, Joyce has loved watching this community grow into a thriving, vibrant place. Her warmth and spirit make her an absolutely wonderful resident, and we feel so lucky to have her as part of our family.
Joyce’s adventurous life and kind heart inspire us all every day!
