Associate of the Month

Linda Guidmond

Linda is originally from Virginia, where she met her husband Michael when they were 15- and 16-year-olds that quickly became high school sweethearts. Linda and Michael have been happily married for over 40 years. Linda also called New York home for 30 years. Linda worked at the bank for 30 years, before finding her calling as the Memory Care Enrichment Coordinator. Linda has two children, a daughter in Summerville and a son, who now watches over her from heaven. Linda also has a granddaughter, Elena, whom is the apple of Linda and Micheal’s eyes. Linda and Michael also have three fur babies, Frankie, Maggie, Romo, whom are their loving dogs. Linda, who not only cares for our Wildcat residents, also cares for her mother, Celia, at home. As the Memory Care Enrichment Coordinator, many hours go into planning and implementing the activities, games and love Linda shares with each resident. Linda has a love for life and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Linda loves a good party and enjoys traveling. Speaking of traveling, while it might not be the far-off lands in which Linda would love to explore, Linda also helps to drive the bus for Wildcat in which she helps transport our residents to their doctor appointments, grocery stores and occasionally a shopping spree here and there. One favorited trip was when we took all of the residents to see the Christmas lights. Linda is one of a kind and is always there to help with helping hands or with kind words. Wildcat Memory Care would not be what it is without her dedication for the residents. We love our Ms. Linda!
