Associate of the Month

My name is Joseph, and I currently work as a Server at The Oscar at Veramendi. Connecting with others and creating a welcoming, lively atmosphere is something I truly enjoy. Growing up in a large family with five siblings and relatives spread all over the country from the Midwest and New York to Seattle, Arizona, and Georgia taught me early on how to appreciate diverse perspectives and bring people together.

After starting my journey here, I quickly realized that serving in such an interactive setting is something I am both genuinely good at and deeply passionate about. One of my favorite parts of my job is having the opportunity to brighten someone’s day, whether it’s through sharing great conversation, swapping a smile, or simply making sure every resident feels right at home. I love working in an environment that allows my personality to shine, and I’ve felt completely welcomed by the management and my coworkers since day one.

Outside of work, you can usually find me making music, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, or hanging out with my dogs, Desi and Fin. Whether I’m diving into my creative projects, enjoying a great plate of sushi, or relaxing at home, I always appreciate the simple things that keep life fun and balanced.
As for my future, I’m excited to continue growing alongside this wonderful community. I am honored to be a part of such a supportive team, and I look forward to helping create a positive, engaging experience for everyone here every single day.
