Resident of the Month

Congratulations to our July Resident of the Month, Karyle!
Karyle grew up in Tampa with her brother and has proudly called the Tampa Bay area home for most of her life. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Business, but soon realized that an office career was not for her. A chance lunch with a friend who worked for Delta Air Lines changed the course of her life. Inspired by her friend’s stories of travel and adventure, Karyle joined Delta and went on to enjoy an incredible 40-year career with the airline.
Throughout her career, Karyle traveled extensively throughout Asia and Europe and treasured the opportunities her layovers provided. One of her favorite destinations was Mumbai, India, which she describes as feeling “like going to another planet” because of its unique culture, sights, and experiences.
Although life took her to places such as Seattle and Minneapolis, Tampa has always remained home in her heart.
Outside of work, Karyle has a strong passion for volunteering and giving back to her community. She served as a docent at the Holocaust Museum in St. Petersburg, where she enjoyed educating young people about the importance of remembering the Holocaust and learning from history.
Today, Karyle still has a desire to help others and would love the opportunity to become involved in volunteering again. We are honored to have her as part of our community and are proud to recognize her as our July Resident of the Month
