Resident of the Month

We are delighted to recognize Cindy as our Resident of the Month! Cindy was born and raised in Indiana, where she spent many fulfilling years building a life centered around family, education, and service to others. Education played a major role in Cindy’s life. She dedicated 31 years to teaching 4th and 5th grade in Indiana, positively impacting countless students along the way.
Her journey to St. Petersburg began with what was meant to be a simple vacation in 1986. During that visit, she met Neil, and what started as a trip soon turned into a new chapter of her life. Cindy fell in love not only with Neil but with the community as well, and she decided to make St. Petersburg her permanent home.
Outside of the classroom, Cindy also devoted much of her time to caring for her five nieces and nephews, showing the same kindness and patience she brought to her teaching career. After relocating, Cindy continued her giving spirit by participating in various volunteer roles within the community.
Cindy is a proud and enthusiastic Notre Dame fan and enjoys cheering them on whenever she can. In her free time, she loves reading, needlework, and watching movies. She has also discovered a new favorite pastime here, bingo, which she has grown to truly enjoy.
With her warm smile, gentle nature, and joyful presence, Cindy brightens the days of everyone around her. We are so grateful to have her as part of our community and are proud to celebrate her as our Resident of the Month!
