My name is Jessica, I am originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. Been in Florida about 12 years, have worked in Senior living about 15 years & do it because I have a true passion for seniors. They have a story to tell & in most cases just want someone to listen. So, I want to show them I am listening to them & my way of doing that is through the service of delicious food. I am looking forward to a great & bright future with this amazing company! Thank you for making me feel so welcome & nice to meet you ALL.

Chariots of Fire (1981) is an Oscar-winning film based on the true story of two British athletes, Eric Liddell and Harold Abrahams, competing in the 1924 Olympics. Its iconic score by Greek composer Vangelis became one of the most recognizable movie themes in history. The film won four Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and remains a symbol of perseverance and triumph.
Around the World with Atlas - Greece

This month in our Around the World with Atlas we will be exploring the country of Greece. The history of Greece can be traced back to Stone Age hunters. Later came early farmers and the Minoan and Mycenaean civilizations. This was followed by a period of wars and invasions, known as the Middle Ages. Around 1100 BC, the people of the Dorians invaded from the north and spread along the west coast.
The capital of Greece is named after the goddess Athena, the goddess of wisdom and warfare, while the capital is on the mainland of Greece, Greece is made up of the Greek Isles which are home to over 6000 beautiful islands, with only 227 of them inhabited.
We will all be celebrating the Holiday of Easter this month. Easter is a bigger celebration than Christmas in Greece. You’ll find Easter celebrations in Greece aren’t like the rest of the world. With week-long festivities, it’s one that everyone gets involved in. Greek Easter, also known as Pascha, begins with the Holy Week, a period of intense religious observance and preparation. From Palm Sunday to Holy Saturday, devout Greeks participate in church services, processions, and ceremonies, immersing themselves in the profound spiritual significance of the occasion. Please check the inside calendar for our Greek activities. They are highlighted in grey and marked with ATW.
Greek Heritage
Around the World with Atlas
Greece, the cradle of Western civilization, is a land where ancient history, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant culture come together. From the awe-inspiring ruins of the Acropolis of Athens, where the Parthenon stands as a symbol of classical Greece, to the mystical sanctuary of Delphi, once considered the center of the world in ancient times, Greece is rich in heritage and mystical past.
The whitewashed cliffs of Santorini showcase Mediterranean charm. Whether exploring ancient ruins, sun-drenched islands, or dramatic landscapes, Greece captivates with its timeless beauty and profound legacy.
