Associate of the Month

Legacy Ridge at Sandy Plains Celebrates Te’azhia Johnson Associate of the Month for December.

We celebrate Te’azhia as our December Associate of the Month. She has been a care partner for six months at Sandy Plains. This is her first job, and she has truly hit the ground running. She is inspired by her mother who is the scheduler and med tech at our community. Te’azhia is a self-starter with an amazing can-do attitude. She says, “she likes to help people and put a smile on their face.” The residents look forward to having her care and spend time with them. She purchased a Halloween Costume for one of our residents and truly made it one of her best Halloween’s. The resident even won a prize.

Te’azhia does a wonderful job engaging with our residents and is a great help with our activities. When asked what advice you would give a new staff member, she stresses the importance of having a good attitude and remembering your energy is bouncing off you to them. Te”azhia says this job is a great fit for her and has led her to pursue a career in nursing. Currently she is in school for graphic design and taking real estate classes. This Mays High School 2023 graduate and former cheerleader loves coding, decorating, shopping, reading and enjoys pasta and ginger ale. She has six siblings, one niece and one of the way.
