Danielle Potter
Executive Director
I was raised by my great grandmother, “Nana”. From an early age I was taught to respect seniors. Some of my fondest memories are of us visiting my Nana’s friends in the senior living communities where they resided, as well as the countless hours we spent volunteering at the local VFW. I loved listening to the stories my Nana’s friends would tell me, and learned so much from the wisdom they shared.
I started my career in senior living 12 years ago, as a housekeeper. Throughout that time, I have worked in various roles such as Resident Care Coordinator, Sales and Marketing, Lead Concierge, and Business Office Director. For the past five years I have served as an Executive Director.
I have 3 children: Chelsy, Leah, and Jayden; and a cat named Luna. Outside of serving my Residents and Associates, I enjoy the beach and spending time with my family.
I look forward to serving the Residents at Atlas Senior Living!
Paige Schroeder
Sales and Marketing Director
Paige has worked in senior living for 6 years and joined the Madison family in 2023. She loves helping families navigate the search for senior living and finds great joy in watching seniors thrive in their new homes. She grew up in Massachusetts and has lived in Florida since 2020. When not in the office, Paige enjoys spending time with family, running, reading, and visiting Disney World with her husband Matt.
Makenna Davidson
Business Office Coordinator
I was raised in Northwest Georgia but relocated to Florida in 2016 to pursue my education. I hold a Master of Science degree in Human Resources. I find fulfillment in roles that contribute to the well-being of others and strive to demonstrate consistent support to those around me. During my leisure hours, I enjoy visiting the movies, delving into mystery and thriller fiction, and exploring the attractions at both Disney and Universal Studios theme parks.
Mark Wright-Ahern
Lifestyles Director
We are so happy to welcome Mark as our Lifestyle Director. Mark Wright-Ahern has performed in several plays and operas throughout the east coast, with companies such as Opera Orlando, the Orlando Opera, and the Roanoke Symphony in Virginia. Mark has been featured in multiple Billboard musical recordings and has judged several vocal competitions throughout the state of Florida and nationally. He has appeared in television commercials for ABC, on the OWN network, a feature film for the SyFy network, and has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in entertainment. Mark is featured in The Youngest Evangelist as the Evangelist and casting director.
With a Master of Science in Business from Nova Southeastern University and Bachelor of Science in Religion with a minor in Musical Performance from Liberty University, Mark spent 4 years teaching in both public and private schools. Mark has been an Associate Dean of Admissions and Alumni Coordinator for Montverde Aca.
Penny Velez
Memory Care Director
Penny Velez has been in the assisted living field for the last 12 years and has been a memory care coordinator for 9 years. She is from Roanoke Virginia and moved to Florida in 1972. On her time off, she enjoys spending time with family and going to the Beach.
Cheryl Eddy
Wellness Director
Cheryl is a true Jersey girl in every way. After earning her BSN from Felician University, Cheryl worked in several clinical jobs, but senior living has always been her favorite. Quick with a witty response, Cheryl is candid yet compassionate and kind. Cheryl has 2 children and a grand dog. On her free time, you can find her fishing and making donations to casinos.
Luis Diaz
Maintenance Director
Luis has been in the Maintenance field for nearly twenty years, seven of them in senior living. He has a passion for taking care of seniors, going back to when he volunteered in communities as a pianist throughout his teenage years. On his free time, you can find him on the lakes fishing and boating.
Ashley Taylor
Dining Director
Ashley has over 15 years of experience cooking in food service, much of that in a healthcare atmosphere. She believes that food is vital to the happiness and continued success of a resident’s health and well-being. It brings her so much joy to put a smile on a resident’s face when they sit down for a home-cooked meal. She has always had a passion to serve the senior population. She believes that “When you work as close as I do with the residents every day, they truly come to be family and I pride myself on taking care of my family.” In Ashley’s free time, she enjoys game and movie nights with her family, Ashley loves to travel to experience different cultures’ food!
