I was interested in the medical field because both my grandmothers were, one a CNA and other RN. They both would talk to me about how much they enjoyed caring for others, I was very intrigued after that.
I started in healthcare in 2003 at an assisted living facility, then moved into hospice as a HHA for 7 years.
I decided to go to nursing school and have been been a nurse for 6 years. I expanded my skills working in home health before I came back to assisted living. I’ve been with Madison almost 3 years now. I started as a floor nurse, was promoted to resident care coordinator, and promoted again as the Wellness Director.
I enjoy a good girls night out, other than that you can find me on the couch watching a movie, or spending quality time with my 2 children.
