Associate of the Month

Lillian Tomasini

Congratulations to Lillian Tomasini for being chosen by Madison at Oviedo as our Associate of the Month for March. Lillian was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and has worked with the elderly for almost 30 years.

Lillian is married with three children and lived in Buffalo, New York for 16 years, before moving to Florida. She is a very hard worker and takes pride in keeping our community clean. In her free time, she enjoys helping others, reading, gardening, and taking care of her four dogs. We appreciate you Lillian, thank you for being a friend!

Grand Canyon

Designated a national monument in 1908; President Woodrow Wilson made Grand Canyon a national park to protect the land and the resources within it in 1919.

Sweetheart Dance

We had an amazing Valentine’s Day celebration this year! Our culinary team went above and beyond with a Surf and Turf dinner. We continued to celebrate with our residents enjoying the soothing sounds of sweet guitar music. The entertainer serenaded the community with love songs while we enjoyed delicious desserts. Our hearts were full and happy!

Grand Canyon

The Hopi Tribe considers the Grand Canyon a gateway to afterlife. There are over 1,000 caves within the park’s territory with only 335 being documented.

Jean Swanke - Resident of the Month

Our March Resident of the Month is Mrs. Jean Swanke. Jean was born and raised in Iowa before moving to Florida. She worked as a bus driver for over 20 years and loved doing it very much. Jean enjoys watching Soap Operas and welcoming new residents. You can often catch her playing Bingo and socializing with her friends. She is a ray of sunshine in our community and we are pleased to have her call Madison home. Thank you for being a friend!
