Resident of the Month

This April, we are proud to shine the spotlight on Joanne Matherly, a resident with a lifetime of incredible experiences and wonderful stories to share. Joanne worked for many years as Head of Housekeeping at various hotels, where she was known for her strong leadership, organization, and dedication. As the wife of Bob, who served in the United States Air Force, Joanne’s life included many moves and memorable chapters. She has lived in El Paso, Topeka, Dayton, Burns Flat, and eventually Orlando, embracing each new place with enthusiasm and grace. Through her travels with Bob, Joanne had the opportunity to see the world and is happy to say she has accomplished everything on her bucket list. Family has always been close to her heart, and she loved spending time playing cards and bowling with loved ones. Today, Joanne continues to enjoy life to the fullest. You can often find her playing bingo, dancing, or engaging in lively conversations with friends throughout the community. We are delighted to have Joanne with us and appreciate the joy and warmth she brings each day.
