Janell Dunn

Executive Director

Janell comes to us with eight years of experience in senior living.  She has a degree in social services and has had the opportunity to be a Life Enrichment Director and for the last six years an Executive Director.  She loves the residents, associates, and families and doesn’t see herself doing anything else.  Janell loves to travel with her husband, spending time with her two sons, and watching movies.  Her youngest son just graduated high school this year and her oldest son graduated last year. Janell’s grandmother had Alzheimer’s and her mom passed away in 2011 from cancer.  Janell’s mom was her best friend, and she misses her every day.  She feels that going through these life events, it has made her more understanding of people’s situations and pain which makes her more empathetic to their circumstances. Janell values the relationships that she has made in the senior living industry and is super excited to be a part of the Atlas family.

Business Office Manager

Barbie is a Florida native who grew up most of her life in West Orange County. She graduated from Seminole State College. When she started her first job in the senior living facilities it was just a job until she figured out what she wanted to do. It was not long after that she developed a passion for helping seniors. She says she really cannot see herself anywhere else. “This is my family.” Barbie has four children — three girls and one boy. In her free time, she enjoys playing pool, spending time with her family, and going to the beach. “I can’t explain the joy It brings me when I see my residents and families happy.”

Wellness Director

Nneka Thomas, is a dedicated nurse with 6 years of experience in the senior living industry.  She is driven by a profound love for seniors and a passion for leadership. Beyond her career, she cherishes moments with her family and two children Nikolas and Makalia. Nneka finds solace in horseback riding and delights in the beauty of nature.

Bridgette Bonnick Dining Service Director Madison At Ocoee

Dining Services Director

Bridgette has cared for seniors and prepared healthy comfort food for 20 years. Bridgette is passionate about the senior living industry and loves to make all the residents and families happy. Bridgette is married to the love of her life and has three children, Dante (26), Emiya (20), and De’Andre (17). She likes to read good books and watch classic TV shows in her spare time. Bridgette loves couponing and some would call her an extreme couponer! She is a Christian woman who puts God first in her life. Bridgette says, “I cannot see myself in any other industry, as caring for seniors gives me meaning and purpose every day!”

Jennifer Cain Sales and Marketing Director

Sales and Marketing Director

Jenifer has been in the Sales and Marketing industry for over 15 years. She transitioned to Senior Living Marketing and Sales because of her love of helping the elderly. Jennifer discovered her passion for helping seniors through caring for her grandmother at the young age of 16 she would visit her grandmother in assisted living and volunteer her time in the community her grandmother resided at.

Jenifer lives locally in Ocoee and started out volunteering her time in at the Madison before leaving her corporate position and transitioning into her role as the Sales Marketing Director at the Madison.

Although originally from Canada, Jenifer has spent the last 14 years in Central Florida. In her spare time, Jenifer enjoys going to the beach and sharing her love of the outdoors with her son.

Kelly Washington Memory Care Director Madison At Ocoee

Kelly Washington

Memory Care Coordinator

Kelly is a Florida Native that has spent the majority of her life in central Florida. In 1996, she received Early Childhood Education in Tallahassee, FL, and then received her Montessori certification in 2005. She also earned her master’s certification in dispensary management in 2019. She joined our team in March
2020 and by her passion and respect for the residents, she has quickly moved up the ladder into the Lifestyles Coordinator role.

She treats each resident as if they were family and ensures they receive individualized care. Kelly takes the needs of the residents personally and wants them and their families to be as comfortable and happy as possible.

In her free time, she is soaking up the sun at the beach or spends time with family. She has four children and the best baby sister, Jamie.

Shehzad Aslam, Maintenance Director | Madison at Ocoee

Shehzad Aslam

Maintenance Director

Shehzad is new to the Senior Living industry but not new to maintenance. He is a licensed HVAC technician with more than 10 years of maintenance experience, with most of his career being in residential and apartment complex maintenance work. Shehzad moved to Florida in 1995 from Pakistan which was a huge cultural shock coming from such a conservative country. Shehzad has been married for 5 years and enjoys hanging out with his wife watching tv together and eating out at restaurants. Shehzad also enjoys playing golf and watching combat sports.
