Resident of the Month

Vera grew up in New York. She was married to Harry Ercolani until his passing in May 2005.

Vera is a proud mother of two children. Dr. Louis Ercolani, Vera’s son, is a Nephrologist at Boston Massachusetts General Hospital and lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is happily married to Maeve McNally and has four grown children: Matthew, Mae, Miles, and Keelin.

Donna Payne, Vera’s daughter, is happily married to Ross Payne. Donna has two grown children, William Kosloski and Kathleen Kosloski. William lives in Tallahassee and works for the Auditor General. Kathleen is a registered nurse and will graduate with her Bachelors degree in Nursing. Donna Payne has worked for Valencia College for 25 years.

Vera also has great grand children, Siena Rose Ercolani, daughter of Matthew Ercolani. Vera also has two other great grand children from her grand daughter Mae.

After Vera retired from her job in New York, serving the City’s rent control office, she retired to Port St. Lucie, Florida and learned how to play golf. Vera was an avid golfer and got a hole in one during a championship with her ladies golf group in Clermont, Florida.

Vera was a great Italian cook with specialties of lasagna, eggplant parmigiana, and home-made manicotti.

No matter the circumstances Vera always is cheerful and pleasant. Vera fills the world with love and is loved by all.
