Christen Martin
This October, we are excited to celebrate Christen Martin as our Associate of the Month!
Christen has been a valued member of the Legacy Reserve family since February 2023. A true Lexington native, Christen was born and raised right here in Lexington, Kentucky, and we are so lucky that she has chosen to share her time and talents with our community!
When she isn’t at Legacy, Christen loves staying busy with all of her favorite hobbies and interests. She enjoys crafting, woodworking, camping, and spending time with her children. She also has quite the collection of treasures! Christen is a huge fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas and collects anything and everything related to the movie. She also has a collection of salt and pepper shakers, making her quite the collector!
But what truly makes Christen special is the heart she brings to her work every day. When asked about her favorite part of her job, Christen shared:
“My favorite part of my job is caring for the residents—from interacting with them, getting to know them, ensuring they have everything they need, and making sure they are cared for. Acts of service are my love language, and I really think that translates through my work as well. Seeing the difference I make in their lives brings me the greatest joy!”
Christen’s dedication, compassion, and genuine love for our residents shine through in everything she does. Her commitment to making sure our residents feel cared for, known, and valued is something that makes a meaningful difference in our community every day.
