Marie Young
Regional Director of Clinical Compliance
Marie was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and grew up in Georgia. She knew at a very young age that she wanted to work with seniors. Marie progressed from volunteering, to becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant, to finally becoming a nurse in 1996. During her career she has also won an award for Excellence in Geriatric Nursing. She has worked in Skilled Nursing, Home Health, Hospice, Memory Care and Assisted Living.
Marie and her husband of 20 years, Nathan, reside in Marietta, GA. She is the mother to 4 children, 2 cats, and a dog. She enjoys spending time with her family, nature walks, camping, kayaking, and sitting anywhere there is a campfire. She loves to travel and is a lifelong fan of Georgia Bulldogs football.
Marie stated it is her honor, passion and privilege to serve the residents and families of our Atlas Senior Living communities as Regional Director of Clinical Compliance.
