Jim Goodwin has lived a life defined by dedication, courage, and a spirit of adventure. A proud veteran, Jim served as a Commander in the United States Navy, where he completed an extraordinary 199 flight missions. His leadership, skill, and unwavering commitment to service stand as a testament to his exceptional character.

After retiring from the Navy, Jim continued to embrace an active and engaged lifestyle. Together with his wife, started a family having a few kids, several grandkids and even a few great grandkids He discovered a love for volleyball, bringing the same passion and teamwork that shaped his military career. Jim was a valued member of Tribute at One Loudoun’s championship volleyball team, showcasing his athleticism and competitive spirit.

Today, Jim remains an inspiration to those around him—an individual whose remarkable past and vibrant present make him truly deserving of recognition as our Resident of the Month.
