Resident of the Month

This month, we are proud to shine our Resident Spotlight on Camilla Bishop, a woman whose life reflects curiosity, compassion, and a love of learning. Born and raised in Fairhope, Alabama, Camilla graduated from Fairhope High School as valedictorian and received the DAR Good Citizenship Award. During college, she broadened her horizons with a memorable summer in France, where she learned French and worked as a nanny. After earning her degree in chemistry, Camilla began her career at Yale University before moving to Florida. In Orlando, she continued her scientific work in water testing, contributing to community health and environmental safety. Camilla enjoys reading, watching her favorite television shows, and spending time outdoors, especially on horseback. Her favorite pet was her beloved horse, Silver. Known for her warm, friendly nature, Camilla cherishes time with her sister, Alice, and brings kindness and positivity to everyone she meets.
