Associate of the Month

We are pleased to highlight Deo Bacarra as our march employee of the month. He is one of our extremely talented cooks here in the Madison Kitchen. Deo is originally from Calapan City, Philippines where he spent his childhood and young adult life. Although challenging, he moved to the United States with his wife when he was just 23 years old. His mother-in-law has always been a key inspiration in his cooking journey, while continuing to spread her recipes by cooking for us. Deo’s favorite hobbies are watching tv and getting in some light cardio for daily exercise. If he could switch his department for one day, he said he’d enjoy working with maintenance. One of the biggest accomplishments to him is his success of being able to provide for his family and support them whenever they need help. He’s known for his congeniality, consistently delicious soups and for being able to make just about anyone smile. Thank you so much Deo, for being you.
