Susan Stephens, LPN
Executive Director
Susan Stephens is our Executive Director here at Legacy Reserve at Old Town. After graduating from nursing school she quickly knew her passion was in caring for senior citizens. With 14 years of experience in senior care, Susan is dedicated to providing our residents with the best continuity of care while maintaining their highest level of independence.
Susan was born and raised in Dothan, Alabama. She moved to Columbus, Georgia. after marrying her husband, a Columbus native. Susan has four children and four grandchildren. She loves traveling, ATV riding, and spending time with friends and family.
Chelbie Carter
Sales Counselor
Meet Chelbie Carter, Sales Counselor. Chelbie came to us with over thirteen years of health care experience. She quickly advanced from our Move-In Coordinator position to Sales Counselor.
She is originally from Columbus, Georgia. Chelbie has two daughters, Paisley and Abigail. She enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, and visual arts.
Julie Chandler
Business Office Manager
Julie Chandler is a Human Resources Professional with over ten years of experience primarily in Healthcare Recruitment. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Columbus State University and continued her education with a Master’s Degree in Public and Health Administration.
Julie lives in the Smiths Station, Alabama area with her three daughters Tinsley (9), Alleigh (7), and Brinklee (2) who love all things Disney just like their mom! Julie also has a miniature dachshund named Cooper! She enjoys reading, swimming, singing, and leading the children’s choir.
Julie has a passion for serving people. She genuinely cares about the well-being and lives of all of those around her and strives every day to be a positive smile to light their path.
Jenifer Steen
Wellness Director
Jenifer joins us with over fifteen years of experience in nursing and over twenty years of experience in the medical field. She is passionate about patient care and strives to improve the quality of life for each resident she serves. Her specialties include primary care, urgent care, and geriatrics. She lives in Harris County with her thirteen-year-old daughter, whom she adores! Jennifer is a huge fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and enjoys all things outdoors. Her hobbies include kayaking, soccer, trail riding in the mountains, and fishing.
Vanessa Robinette
Move in Coordinator
Vanessa comes to us with 3 years of experience working with Coffee County Family Services, with a Bachler degree in Human Services, and a core focus in hospitality.
Being the daughter of an Army veteran, Vanessa enjoyed a childhood in Germany. After her dad’s retirement from the Army at Fort Benning, the family decided to call Columbus their permanent home, and have lived here for the last 20 years.
Vanessa has a 3 year old, Briggs, and loves to be outdoors and spend time with family and friends. Vanessa has a passion for people and making connections.
If you are walking around Legacy Reserve, you will probably hear Vanessa saying, “How can we support you today”.
Bryan Golden
Maintenance Director
Bryan Golden is proud to be the Maintenance Director for Legacy Reserve at Old Town. He is a Columbus native and has been here all his life. He is a loving husband to his wife, Opici, and father to his three children Anthony, Kenzie, and Silva. Bryan says he has always had a passion for helping others and working at Legacy Reserve gives him the opportunity to do that every day. He graduated from Columbus Technical College from the HVAC program with honors in his field. He is an extremely hard worker and strives for excellence in everything he does. He has been in maintenance for around 16 years. Bryan is a Georgia Bulldogs fan and enjoys working out and spending time with family!
