Associate of the Month
Hannah Nuffer
We are delighted to announce Hannah Nuffer as our Associate of the Month, a testament to her unwavering warmth, dedication, and passion for senior care. Outside of work, Hannah cherishes moments with her daughter, Emerson, whether playing outdoors or enjoying quiet time at home, highlighting the importance of family in her life. She also prioritizes staying active through gym visits and outdoor adventures. Hannah’s love for traveling allows her to explore new cultures and connect with diverse people, but her greatest joy stems from spending time with Emerson. After dedicating time to raising her daughter, Hannah eagerly returned to senior care, drawn to The Oscar’s beautiful community and the positive energy radiating from its members. The warmth and kindness of the team made her decision effortless. Hannah finds immense fulfillment in getting to know the residents, building personal connections, and treating them like family. She enjoys engaging in activities like Rummikub and Mexican Train, and hosting fun outings, making each day special. A particularly memorable moment for Hannah was her first day at The Oscar, where the warm welcome from both staff and residents quickly alleviated her nerves and solidified her feeling of belonging. We sincerely thank Hannah for her dedication and compassionate spirit, which enrich The Oscar for all who call it home.
Greek Heritage
Alexa play "The Four Horsmen" from "Aphrodite's Child"
“The Four Horsemen” is one of the most iconic tracks by Aphrodite’s Child, a Greek progressive rock band featuring Vangelis Papathanassiou (later known simply as Vangelis) and Demis Roussos. The song is part of their ambitious 1972 concept album “666”, which is loosely based on the Book of Revelation from the Bible. The track specifically refers to the apocalyptic vision of the Four Horsemen, each representing conquest, war, famine, and death.
