Executive Director

Hello everyone! I am a Registered Nurse with 27 years of experience, mostly in Geriatric Behavioral Health, but also in Home Health, Inpatient, and Adolescent Behavioral Health. 25 years of my nursing career has been in management as the Program Director and Director of Nursing at Turning Point Mature Adult Care Unit at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, MS. My love of nursing is and always has been deeply rooted in Senior Care and helping to provide the best quality of care and life for everyone that have the privilege of caring for.

I grew up and have lived most of my life in Louisville, MS. I enjoy being outdoors, love traveling and music. I like to learn and experience new things and have hobbies ranging from riding, building custom motorcycles and cars to painting, hunting, fishing, and playing guitar in our band Slim Pickins.

I am honored to be part of the Atlas Senior Living family here at The Goldton at Adelaide and I am looking forward to the future at this beautiful community.

Hey Ya’ll, I was born and raised in West Point, MS.  I have lived in Una, MS since 2005.  I have a wonderful husband, Neal, and three precious children: Mitchell, who is 23, Faith, who is 19 and Hampton, who is 7.  I also have four fur babies: Kitty, Bully, Little Girl and Bella. 

I graduated in 1999 from West Point High School and attended East Mississippi Community College, where she received her Certified Nursing Assistant License.  I have worked in the healthcare industry for 10 years.  In my spare time, you will find me whipping up something yummy in the kitchen, reading a good book, volunteering at church, spending time with my family and fur babies and of course, online shopping. 

I began my tenure at The Claiborne at Adelaide when they opened in 2015 as a Personal Assistant.  Over the years, I have worked in various positions within the company such as Personal Assistant, Lead Personal Assistant, Lead Cook, Director of Dining Services, Dining Room Coordinator, Director of Activities.  I have been the Business Office Manager since October 2022. I am honored to be a part of The Goldton at Adelaide and Atlas Senior Living.

Kayleigh is a recent graduate of Mississippi State University, where she double-majored in Management and Marketing. She is excited to be starting her career with Atlas at the Goldton.  

Kayleigh has seen first-hand the importance of caring for loved ones and how crucial those decisions can be. Kayleigh is deeply passionate about being a part of a team that is focused on relationship selling. She is compassionate and empathetic, knowing that building trusting relationships is key! Kayleigh is proud to be able to give back to the community that has given her so much.  

Kayleigh is engaged and has a beautiful 3-year-old step-daughter. In her free-time, you can find her spending time with friends and family, at a Mississippi State Baseball game, or somewhere on a beach!

Activity Director for Memory Care

Tameka is a native of Starkville MS, she has 2 wonderful children Samoriah (16) & Maichi (6) and she aspires to continue her growth in the healthcare spectrum. She’s a 2005 graduate of Starkville High School, attended Meridian Community College and studied Early Childhood Education.

Tameka has worked with vulnerable adults and senior living, she’s worked in several childcare settings and received her NHA as a Certified Phlebotomist. She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Tameka loves to travel, dance, ride her four wheeler and online shop.

She began her tenure at The Claiborne at Adelaide as a Personal Assistant, Lead Personal Assistant, staff trainer & Walk with me Coordinator. Tameka has a passion for senior living & helping families. She’s very excited and honored to be apart of The Goldton at Adelaide.

Lisa Cox- Assisted Living Activities Director | The Goldton at Adelaide

Hello everyone! I went to Purdue University and received my bachelors in Recreation Administration in 1991. My husband and I moved to Baton Rouge, La, so he could get his PhD and I went to Southern University for classes in Therapeutic Recreation. I did my intern at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Baton Rouge. While I was in Baton Rouge, I worked at Lady of the Lake in Recreation Therapy in the Rehabilitation Department. Both of these jobs, I was doing Recreation Therapy for Senior Citizens. I also worked at Caring Inc. for children in Recreation Therapy as well.

My husband and I moved to Starkville in 1996, so he could teach at MSU in Plants and Soil Science. I have worked for Starkville Parks for 22 years as a Program Coordinator, doing arts and crafts, special events for Senior Citizens and children. My favorite population to work with is Senior Citizens. They have so many stories to tell and so much knowledge to pass on. I just love talking with them about their hisory!

My husband and I have been married for 33 years and have 2 children. Sara is 20 and attending MSU for education. John is 15 and goes to Starkville High School.

Hello Everyone! My name is Ashley Reeves and I have been part of the Golden Triangle Community since I was born. I began nursing in 2010 and transitioned into leadership in 2019. I love using my passion for nursing to better clinical staff and enrich the lives of our community.

I am a true Mississippi girl and love everything outdoors. I love our church community and friends. I am blessed with the sweetest family!

Dining Services Director

Kevin Adams is a 2002 graduate of Columbus High School in Columbus, MS and 2007 graduate of Mississippi University for Women. He’s the son of Dr. Thomas Adams and Jannette Adams of Columbus. He’s an avid reader and enjoys swimming and horseback riding. As well as a member of Missionary Union Baptist Church where he’s been a choir member since he was 5.
