Chariots of Fire (1981) is an Oscar-winning film based on the true story of two British athletes, Eric Liddell and Harold Abrahams, competing in the 1924 Olympics. Its iconic score by Greek composer Vangelis became one of the most recognizable movie themes in history. Italian Flag
Around the World
Travel to Italy!
Our residents immersed themselves in Italian culture by creating a beautiful pasta mosaic of the Italian flag. While working on their masterpiece, we explored some fascinating facts about this wonderful country.
Italy is famous for its rich history, delicious cuisine, and stunning architecture.
Its gastronomy has given us iconic dishes like pizza, pasta, and gelato.
It is home to Vatican City and the Colosseum, one of the wonders of the ancient world.
Legendary artists like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo left their mark on art history.
Italy is also the birthplace of opera and some of the world’s most prestigious fashion houses.
What a beautiful way to travel through creativity and learning!
