Terry grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and is the proud mother of one son, Mark, who lives in Birmingham with his wife, Miki. She is a proud grandmother to two grandsons: Kenneth, currently attending Auburn University, and Matthew, a junior in high school.

After retiring from Southwest Airlines in Chicago, Terry relocated to sunny Destin, Florida, where she spent 22 wonderful years. In October 2022, she made the moved to Monark Grove Greystone to be closer to her son and her sister, who both live in Birmingham.

Terry says she chose Monark Grove for its indoor pool, spacious apartments, friendly and caring staff, and the wide variety of activities offered – amenities that are especially meaningful to her.

As a Resident Ambassador, Terry plays a key role in welcoming newcomers to the community. She introduces them to fellow residents and encourages participation in weekly game nights and other scheduled activities, helping create a warm, inclusive, and connected atmosphere for everyone.
