Associate of the Month

Kyleigh (Ky-Lee)

Kylee Associate of the Month

We’re thrilled to announce Kyleigh as our Employee of the Month! Kyleigh consistently demonstrates enthusiasm, hard work, and kindness. Kyleigh doesn’t just excel in her housekeeping role; she’s always willing to help out wherever needed, taking on additional tasks and replacements with a smile. No challenge is too big for her – she tackles everything with a positive attitude, truly embodying the spirit of hard work. Kyleigh’s strong work ethic comes naturally. Growing up with a father in the Air Force, Texas National Guard, and now an enlisted husband in the Army, she understands the value of dedication and punctuality. Her motto: “If you’re early, you’re on time. If you’re on time, you’re late.” Originally from Ohio, Kyleigh relocated to Texas to escape the cold. Here, she lives with her husband and their furry companions. She loves being part of our team and cherishes the relationships she’s built so far. In her free time, Kyleigh lends a hand on her father’s ranch, working with cattle, fixing fences, and caring for the chickens and pigs. Her father, a hardworking man himself, is a constant source of inspiration. Newly married, Kyleigh and her husband share a passion for travel. They dream of one day exploring the world together. Kyleigh, we appreciate your dedication, positive attitude, and willingness to go above and beyond. Thank you for being such a valuable asset to our team!

Resident of the Month

Russ Parmley

Our Resident of the Month is Russ Parmley, who hails from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Russ actively served in the Civil Air Patrol for many years at Kirkland Air Force Base, progressing from a cadet to a lieutenant colonel. He had the honor of participating in the International Air Cadet Exchange, visiting Portugal. In 1972, Russ married his lifelong partner, and they were blessed with three children: twin daughters, Joanne and Laura, and their son, John. Throughout his career, Russ relocated for work, residing in states like New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. While Fayetteville was a favorite spot, Georgetown became his most beloved place to live. Russ has been enjoying leisurely days by the pool and the excellent food and cheerful staff here at The Oscar. He cherishes spending time with his 12-year-old Aussie doodle, Wally and holds Father’s Day dear, treasuring moments with his children and grandchildren above all else.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department provides outdoor recreational opportunities by managing and protecting wildlife and wildlife habitat and acquiring and managing parklands and historic areas.
