Associate of the Month

Please join us in congratulating Lisa Perkins, our Associate of the Month! Lisa joined The Oscar in March of this year and serves as our Lifestyles Coordinator, primarily working with our Assisted Living residents. Lisa loves making people smile and helping residents feel cared for, and one of her favorite activities to lead is bingo.

What keeps Lisa motivated is knowing she is making a difference in the lives of others. One of her most cherished memories at The Oscar is a resident praying for her during a challenging moment in her life, a meaningful gesture she will always remember. Lisa especially appreciates the amazing residents she gets to interact with each day and believes that teamwork makes a great team member, a value she demonstrates every day.

Lisa’s advice to new employees is, “Never settle in failure; keep striving to do better.” Outside of work, Lisa enjoys singing with her band, writing her own songs, and cleaning. She values maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life and relies on the encouragement of those around her to keep moving forward. Her family is also incredibly important to her, especially her mom, two sisters, and her dad, who was a guitarist.
