Associate of the Month

We are thrilled to announce that our Associate of the Month for December is the dedicated and caring Carol Siegmund!

Carol, a Medication Aide, has been a vital part of The Oscar team for one year. Carol consistently goes above and beyond her duties to ensure the well-being of our residents.

For Carol, the absolute best part of her position is the daily interaction with the residents. She loves connecting with them, bringing a smile to their face, and listening intently to the wonderful stories of their past.

A truly special moment for Carol at The Oscar was when the Memory Care community opened. After working in Assisted Living, she finally moved down to Memory Care and, upon meeting her very first resident there, she knew immediately, “that’s where she belonged.” Carol’s passion for her work is evident, and she believes The Oscar aligns perfectly with her personal values because she truly is doing what she loves here.

To stay focused and organized, Carol is a master planner! She organizes her day as soon as she arrives. While her biggest challenge is ensuring every day runs smoothly, she always does the best she can for our residents, even when unexpected challenges arise.
Her advice to a new team member is simple yet crucial: show respect, communicate with one another (as it’s very important), and remember the power of teamwork!

When Carol is not busy caring for our residents, she enjoys spending time with the most important people in her life: her children and her husband. They, along with her beloved doggies, mean the world to her. She balances her work and personal life by being very organized and planning her off days well, and she also enjoys a bit of shopping!

We are so grateful for Carol’s commitment, organization, and heartfelt compassion for our residents and the entire Oscar community.
