Celebrating Our Resident of the Month in Our Senior Living

Betsy has been a resident of ours for about 7 months. She loves children and taught the second grade. She got married to Patrick in 1982 and moved to Huntsville from Indiana. She was born in Indianapolis, but moved to Florida at 6. She attended college in Bloomington, Indiana, at Indiana University. She really loves St. Patrick’s Day because it reminds her of her husband Patrick and the love they shared. She loves animals, specifically dogs, and even knew the dogs’ names before the residents in the community when she was getting acclimated! Betsy gets up early every morning and tidies up little areas in our community, and she says it is her way of saying thank you to us who care for her. She doesn’t like much attention and likes to stay under the radar, but that just shows how much Betsy cares about her home and those with whom she spends her days. We love Betsy and are so thankful to have her here! Thank you, Betsy!
