Barbara Barnett was born Barbara Ashcraft October 17, 1937, to Wilson and Marie Ashcraft in Abbeville, SC…. Ms. Barnett was raised with five siblings (James Wilson, Sara Maragret -Burns, Wilson
Stewart, Franklin Lee, and Francis Marie (Coleman). Ms. Barnett attended Abbeville High School. Ms. Barbara met her husband Warren Barnett on a blind date. They went to see Love Me Tender. They were married in 1960 in Clay County Alabama. Mr. Warren like to play music. He played the banjo, fiddle, guitar, piano by ear and the Accordion). Mr. Barrnett served two years in the United States Army. Their union gave them two children Terry Barrnett and Jean Marie Barnett -Brown. Their union continued to grow with 5 grandchildren (Calen Barrnett, Connor Brown, Blake Brown, Issac Barrnett, and Saige Barrnett-Jones). Ms. Barbara Barrnett is known as B.B. in the community. Her religion by choice is Baptist. The reason that she likes living at The Goldton at Athens is because of the friendships she has formed here and the care from the team members.
