Resident of the Month

Please help us in congratulating our July Resident of the Month, Mr. James Bendall! Mr. Bendall has been a resident of The Goldton at Athens since January 2024! James was born and raised in Cortland, Alabama to the parents of Marvin and Lucy Bendall! James ventured away from Cortland for a few years to pursue his career with Reynolds Metal Company in West Virginia where he met his beautiful wife! The two married in 1955 and shortly after returned to James’s hometown, Cortland. Their amazing union produced two wonderful children and now four grandchildren who they absolutely adore. We are so incredibly grateful to have James as a resident of The Goldton at Athens!
