Ms. Robbie was born Robbie Graves on December 30, 1928, to the parents of Dona and Walter Graves in Lawrenceburg, TN… Ms. Robbie is one of ten children. Ms. Robbie had four brothers and five sisters. Ms. Robbie and her husband Alexender grew up knowing one another. They started dating when Ms. Robbie was 15. Alexender went to serve in the Army and while he was on leave, they were married after she turned 17. Their union produced three beautiful sons. Ms. Robbie has 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 15 great-greatgrandchildren. Ms. Robbie’s religion is Baptist. She says that the works at The Goldton make her feel loved. Ms. Robbie favorite meal is chicken fried chicken or Southern fried, mashed potatoes and purple hauled peas with sweet tea.
