Associate of the Month

Zina Bennet was born in New Orleans in 1966. She spent all her life there until 2005, when Hurricane Katrina hit, and she was forced to leave her home. She went to Monroe LA, but her father wanted to move back home so Zina made her way north to Athens, AL with her aging parents.

Zina first started working here at The Goldton in September 2017 the first time around. She left in February of 2021, she started out as an RCA And made a transition to Med Tech.

She came back to The Goldton May of 2023 and has been an absolute joy since then. She works diligently as our concierge, fills in as med tech, goes above and beyond for our residents and staff day in and day out. Zina’s upbeat personality and sass makes her such a joy to have her here at the Goldton and our residents see it too! That’s why she was voted as our employee of the month, AGAIN!
