Repeat of a craft

Bubble wrap art was an activity that the residents a few months back. One of the residents requested it again so, I put it back on the calendar. This time there we more participants than the first time. The residents as they were doing their art started talking about how they looked. This gave us a chance to talk about how everyone sees art in a different way. Crafts always gives the residents a chance to talk about how they see things differently.

The most popular months to visit are May through September. During the busy summer season, most roads and facilities are open and a full range of programs are available to enjoy.

Pet therapy

Ms. Shelia comes in once month on the 2nd Thursday of the month. We had a petting zoo last month that the residents loved. The one thing about pet therapy is no matter the animal it seems that the residents love it. For those that stay in their rooms even those residents come out for pet therapy.

Devotion Time

The residents enjoy their time with the people that come to share the word of the Lord with them. They have 4 devotions a week and most of them go to all of them. They have said that their time in devotion is very important. Now I’m working on getting someone here to serve them communion.
