Brain Teasers and Word Games

The residents here at The Goldton at Athens like playing word games and trivia. The one game they like playing the most is word with a word. They played a game a few weeks ago that they found 300 words. This game is not only the resident’s favorite but also many of the staff members have fun playing it too. The residents are amazing when they play this game because they just start calling out words and it’s hard to keep up sometimes. But it has been proven that brain teasers, trivia, and word games are good for the mind.

Greek Heritage
Around the World with Atlas

Greece, the cradle of Western civilization, is a land where ancient history, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant culture come together. From the awe-inspiring ruins of the Acropolis of Athens, where the Parthenon stands as a symbol of classical Greece, to the mystical sanctuary of Delphi, once considered the center of the world in ancient times, Greece is rich in heritage and mystical past.

The whitewashed cliffs of Santorini showcase Mediterranean charm. Whether exploring ancient ruins, sun-drenched islands, or dramatic landscapes, Greece captivates with its timeless beauty and profound legacy.

Crafty crafters

When the residents have been given a picture of what is to be painted it is amazing to see what they come up with. These painting are pictures of the Italian flag and the shape of the country. The one thing I always tell them is that what you may not think is art someone else sees it as beautiful. Art is always in the eye of who or who is looking at it.

Classic sounds of Violins and the Cello

The Walkers came into the community seeking the opportunity to play for the residents. The first time they performed here at The Goldton at Athens they were a hit. The residents are always asking when they are coming back. They play mostly classical music but ask the residents what they want to here after every performance.

The residents love their interaction the young lady have with them. The one thing about the residents here is that they make everyone that comes in feel at home. These young ladies have the best time with the residents, they not only play their classical music but are always asking the residents what they would like to hear. Every time these young ladies come back; they play both their classical music and what the residents asked for when they performed last.
