Resident of the Month

We are delighted to celebrate Tamara Britton as our Resident of the Month! Born and raised in Longview, Texas, Tamara has lived a life full of creativity, color, and joy.

In her youth, she proudly performed as a Kilgore Rangerette, known for her high-kicking talent and spirited energy. That same vibrance has followed her throughout her life—right down to her favorite color, red, which perfectly matches her beloved Corvette!

A gifted artist, Tamara has always expressed herself through painting, even selling her artwork in Occoquan. Her creative spirit also carried into education, where she spent two meaningful years as an elementary school teacher, touching the lives of many young students.

Family is at the heart of Tamara’s world. She is the proud mother of two daughters and the joyful grandmother of seven grandchildren, who continue to brighten her life.

Tamara enjoys the sweeter things in life—especially Hershey Kisses, her favorite snack! She also loves to shop, a hobby she pursues with enthusiasm. And for those who know her well, it’s no secret that she’s a Flamingo Fanatic, embracing all things pink and tropical.

Together with Larry, Tamara also spent time showing poodles, including their well-loved companions Count, Thorn, and Tasha.

Tamara’s warmth, creativity, and lively spirit make her a treasured part of our community. We are honored to celebrate her!
