Celebrating Our Residents of the Month at Tribute at Black Hill

Christine is originally from Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. She grew up with her mother, 3 older sisters, 2 older brothers, and her Aunt Millie. Growing up, she enjoyed ice skating on the football field and playing at the park. Christine married her husband on April 25th, 1953, and they were married until his passing in 2017. Together, they had 3 children. Christine worked in the trust department at National Savings & Trust in Washington, D.C. Her husband was an accountant who also served in the US Army (served in Germany during the Korean War). She was highly involved with her church and volunteered in numerous ways, including baking, crafts, and sewing altar covers and vestments for altar boys. Christine enjoys sewing, knitting, watching old movies, and shopping. Some of her favorite movies are Fiddler on the Roof and Dr. Zhivago. She enjoys listening to Christmas music and The Dorsey Brothers. She also enjoys playing Pinochle.
