Executive Director

Born in Florida, raised in Massachusetts, and now back in Florida after raising my family in Maine, I am a nurse and senior living administrator with over 20 years of healthcare experience. My mission is to lead with compassion and integrity while creating a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel valued, safe, and truly at home. I am committed to delivering exceptional, person-centered care that honors dignity, independence, and quality of life. I am also a proud mom of two incredible sons and a grandmother—roles that continually shape my dedication to caring for others.

Paige Schroeder

Sales and Marketing Director

Paige has worked in senior living for 9 years and joined the Atlas Senior Living family in 2023.  She loves helping families navigate the search for senior living and finds great joy in watching seniors thrive in their new homes.

She grew up in Massachusetts and has lived in Florida since 2020.  In her free time, Paige enjoys spending time with family, running, reading, and visiting Disney World.

Business Office Director

Justine was born and raised in Maine and just recently moved to Florida . She earned a Business Administration degree with high honors and has been in the healthcare field for over 10 years. Justine is a mother of four and balances her professional career with family life and new adventures. Since moving to Florida, she has been exploring new activities such as gardening, e-biking, and discovering all that the state has to offer.

With over 20 years of nursing experience, Martha Scherzer brings a rare combination of clinical expertise, compassion, and leadership to every client and family she serves. Her commitment to excellence is deeply personal — inspired by her late mother, whose strength and values continue to guide her work and her relentless pursuit of doing things the right way, every time.

Martha is also a devoted mother of two. Her daughter is a passionate equestrian, and her son is a proud middle-school thespian — both of whom remind her daily of the importance of creativity, dedication, and showing up with heart.

Known for her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering advocacy, Martha believes that exceptional care is not just a service, but a promise — one she strives to fulfill in a way that would make her mother proud and her clients feel truly supported.

Memory Care Director

I am a dedicated and compassionate professional in the senior living industry, bringing over 20 years of experience in providing care and support to seniors. Born in Jamaica and raised in New York, my lifelong commitment to the well-being of older adults has driven both my career and personal life. In 2020, I made the significant decision to relocate to Orlando, Florida, marking a pivotal new chapter in my life and work.
 
After joining Somerby as a care staff member, I quickly demonstrated my skills, passion, and dedication. My unwavering commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors enabled me to rise through the ranks to become the Memory Care Director. In this role, I leverage my extensive knowledge and hands-on experience to cultivate a nurturing and supportive environment for residents facing Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. My leadership is characterized by empathy, understanding, and a deep respect for the dignity of everyone I serve.
 
As a cancer survivor, I deeply understand the fragility of life and the vital role of compassion and care. My journey has fostered in me a profound appreciation for resilience and advocacy. As a proud “lupus warrior,” I draw strength from the challenges I have faced, using my experiences to inspire others. I am particularly passionate about raising awareness and advocating for those affected by lupus and Alzheimer’s disease.
 
Family is the core of my life. I am a devoted mother of two, cherishing the memories of my late son, who tragically passed away at the age of 32 due to lupus. This profound loss has only intensified my resolve to support others facing similar battles, solidifying my commitment to advocacy and care.
 
Today, I continue to lead with passion and purpose, inspiring both colleagues and residents alike. My contributions to the senior living community are marked by kindness, strength, and an unwavering determination to ensure that every individual I care for feels valued and loved. Through my work, advocacy, and personal journey, I embody the spirit of resilience and compassion, serving as a beacon of hope to many.

Dining Director

Born in North Carolina and Raised in Rhode Island. As a native New Englander, I enjoyed catching a Red Sox Fenway Park. I am a classically trained Chef with 25 years of experience. After working in the largest Cassino, Mohegan Sun, I Moved to sunny Florida where I could bring restaurant style dinning to the senior care setting, with a focus resident experience and meeting their needs.

I was born in Puerto Rico, Raised in Brooklyn New York, Big New York Yankees Fan! Served in the US Navvy aboard Nuclear Subs moved to Florida in 1988 and have been in Maintenance work for over 20 years
