In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 36 years. We have jet skis, and we spend as much time as possible out on the water. We visit our son and his fiancé in Indiana a couple of times a year.

John Cordero, Dining Services Director | The Canopy at Beacon Woods

John Cordero

Dining Services Director

As Chef, I began my calling of being the best Chef I could be by achieving my degree in Culinary Arts. Since then, I am currently in my twenty-two year of experience. In the last fifteen years, I have held positions of Sous Chef and Executive Chef. Throughout my career I have been recognized as a visionary Chef who has significantly increased revenues and operational efficiencies through strong organizational skills, excellent communication and teamwork skills.

I have been able to convey complex menu concepts in simple and compelling ways. To the point where I was successfully managing seven different units, all in different locations. I thrive in challenges such as creating different menus catering to both traditional as well as innovative tastes of the people we served. While being the best Chef I can, is my calling, I am blessed with a wonderful wife and two great children. We all serve our loving GOD to whom we owe everything we have and are.
