Jazz Masterpieces
Alexa play the funky version of "Watermelon Men" by "Herbie Hancock"
“Watermelon Man” is a jazz standard written by Herbie Hancock for his debut album, Takin’ Off (1962) in a hard-bop style. This re-record version from Hancock himself is a synth-driven masterpiece from the album Head Hunters (1973), a very funky jazz in which Hancock merged electronic sounds with improvisation, paving the way for future generations of experimental artists.

Rock & Roll
Hall of Fame
Alexa play "All Shook Up" from "Elvis Presley"
From the 1957 album, Loving You, a #1 hit and cultural flashpoint, this song sealed Elvis’s reign as the king of rock & roll. Its upbeat rhythm and playful lyrics defined the youth culture of the 1950s.

Independence day
Independence Day, in the United States, the annual celebration of nationhood held on July 4. It commemorates the passage of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. This document announced the separation of the 13 North American colonies from Great Britain. In 1870 the U.S. Congress made Independence Day an unpaid holiday for federal workers, and in 1938 it became a paid federal holiday.

71st Anniversary Milestone!
On June 26th, 2025, it made 71 years that the Upchurch’s have been married! This is such an amazing milestone because not only were they our first couple to move in, but they are also our longest married couple we have! We look to their marriage for Wisdom, Faith, Love and Hope! Thank you both paving the way!
Are you Against Senior Living too?

Most Seniors are against Senior living until they experience what it’s all about and the benefits that come with it. Three of the main components are 1) Connection 2) Well-Being 3) Security.
Ms. Marinda came and wasn’t so happy initially, once she realized the great benefits of her new home she has fallen in love and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in the world!
