class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This month&#8217;s Resident Spotlight shines on Judy Mackall, whose warm personality, positive outlook, and servant&#8217;s heart have made her a treasured member of the Wildcat Senior Living family.<\/p><p><br \/>Judy was born on March 8, 1949, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Jim and Roma Garinger. As the oldest of four children, with two sisters and one brother, she spent her childhood living in several states, including Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois. Throughout her life, Judy has cherished family above all else. She is the proud &#8220;bonus&#8221; mom to four boys and four girls, a loving grandmother to 17 grandchildren, and a great-grandmother to eight.<\/p><p><br \/>Her professional career was equally impressive. Judy worked for the Bell System as a customer service representative before advancing into corporate credit analysis. She later retired as Vice President of Operations for Fifth Third Bank, bringing years of dedication, leadership, and expertise to every role she held.<\/p><p><br \/>After retirement, Judy and her late husband enjoyed 20 wonderful years in Fort Myers, Florida. Their lives changed when Hurricane Ian devastated the area as a Category 4 storm. Judy&#8217;s stepson traveled from Moncks Corner, South Carolina, to help rescue them and move them closer to family, reminding them that being just &#8220;12 miles and 12 minutes away&#8221; was far better than being &#8220;12 hours away.&#8221;<\/p><p><br \/>Following the passing of her husband in 2023, Judy found a new home at Wildcat Senior Living. Here she has built lasting friendships, stays active in community life, and proudly serves as President of the Independent Living Resident Council. Wildcat also brought an unexpected blessing into her life when she met her &#8220;other half,&#8221; Bill Briggs. Their special friendship has brought joy, companionship, and many smiles to both of them.<\/p><p><br \/>Judy says she has never met a stranger, and anyone who knows her would agree.
