This month’s Employee Spotlight shines on Lisa Jameson, whose caring heart, warm spirit, and passion for serving others have made her a valued member of the Wildcat Senior Living family.
Born on April 11, 1966, in Queens, New York, Lisa is the ninth of twelve children born to James and the late Louise Clay. Growing up in a large family taught her the importance of love, teamwork, and caring for others\u2014qualities that continue to define her today.
After graduating from high school, Lisa met the love of her life. Although they have known each other for 42 years, they have been happily married for 35 years. Together they have raised two beautiful daughters and are now the proud grandparents of four grandsons and one great-grandson, all of whom hold a very special place in Lisa’s heart.
Lisa’s passion for caring for others began at just 16 years old when she worked summer jobs alongside her mother at a retirement home. It was there that she discovered the joy of serving seniors through hospitality and preparing meals that brought comfort and happiness. After moving to South Carolina in 1989, she continued her career as a cook and has faithfully served in senior living hospitality for more than 20 years.
While Lisa may often wear a serious expression, those who know her best quickly discover her fun-loving personality and wonderful sense of humor. She believes enjoying each day makes the workday fly by and loves bringing smiles to both residents and coworkers.
When she’s not at work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, playing bingo\u2014whether she wins or loses\u2014traveling, and indulging in two of her favorite treats: pizza and cake of any kind. She has also enjoyed visiting the Bahamas three times.
Wildcat Senior Living is grateful for Lisa’s dedication, compassion, and years of faithful service.
