I’m an accomplished Long Term Care Executive Director, Director of Sales, and U.S. Army Veteran with a strong background in sales management, business development, and community outreach across the Medical, Senior Living, and Pharmaceutical industries. I bring a mission-driven leadership style shaped by my experience as a Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army, where I developed the strategic thinking, resilience, and team-building skills that continue to drive my success today.

Known for leading through change and delivering measurable results, I have a proven track record of driving revenue growth, building high-performing teams, and forging valuable partnerships. I excel at working across all levels of an organization—from frontline staff and customers to executives and external stakeholders—ensuring alignment, trust, and shared success.

Sales & Marketing Director

With nearly six years of experience in senior living, I am passionate about helping families find the right community and ensuring residents feel truly at home. I enjoy building meaningful connections and guiding families through one of life’s most important decisions with care and compassion.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my dog, Auggie, exploring local trails on hikes. I also enjoy running and unwinding with a good murder mystery book.

As Business Office Director, I bring strong organizational skills and a passion for supporting both residents and team members. With a background in administraion and HR, I ensure that the community runs smoothly behind the scenes so residents and their families can feel at ease.

Outside of work,I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and cooking.

I am Roodna “Roodie” Destime, Resident Lifestyle Director at Tribute at Melford in Maryland. With a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, I have held various positions in assisted living, hospitals, and skilled nursing care. In addition to my expertise in event planning, I have a passion for acting, fashion, traveling, and content creator. I also value social connections and am a proud mother.

Carlos Cole

Building Services Director 

My name is Carlos Cole and I’m the Maintenance Director here at tribute at Melford. I love to help people fix their problems; it gives me a sense of meaning in a way that helps us all. I have worked for assistant living for over 10 years. I graduated for CSM with my ASS. Degree in Criminal Justice. I have 8 children and 3 grandchildren. I love having cookouts and family night playing with family. I also own a few houses and apartments as well and I manage them myself. On my free time during the summer, I love swimming in my pool and going on long rides on one of my motorcycles or my corvette. I am an easy person to approach so please do not hesitate to come to me if at any time you think you may have a question or concern. I’ll see you around. 

Deon Brown

Deon Brown

Director of Culinary Experience

Born and raised in Maryland, where I  started my culinary journey. I have a professional degree in culinary arts, from Pittsburgh. I have been in the industry for over 30 years, my primary focus has been in hotel restaurant management, before transitioning to senior living.  Served honorably in the US Army, IRAQ war veteran. While in the military I competed in culinary competitions, stacking honors medals and awards then ultimately the chef of the year.  I enjoy the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, mountain biking, playing sports, riding dirt bikes and motorcycles.  I enjoy cooking and seeing the smile on people’s faces after they enjoy a great meal.
