Our Florida Senior Living Residents of the Month

Originally from: born in Washington DC and lived in Arlington Virginia.

Kids: has one daughter and two granddaughters- they live in Colombia.

Something enjoyed throughout the day: community activities

Favorite childhood memories: having the freedom of playing outside with other neighborhood kids.

Some things enjoyed doing in earlier years: traveling all over the world- lived in Greece for 15 years and Italy for 15 years. Loved in Egypt for 1 year- taught at an international school.

One thing you love the most about where you live now: Sarasota Florida is much like Greece with having beaches and being around of a lot of cultural lifestyles, it’s hard to find both.

Some fun facts: used to do photography. Enjoys writing and teaching writing. Always been interested in different cultures. Always wanted to get out of the United States- did that by moving to Italy and Greece.

Other things to add: Nancy will be speaking at the September “My Life Story” and would like everyone to get to know her a bit more.
