Chuck and Joyce Mann

Independent Living

Together for more than 28 years, Chuck and Joyce grew up in northwest Illinois. Chuck retired from United Airlines and Joyce worked as a bookkeeper. They meet after their kids were born and together have 4 children. Two daughters that continue to live in Florida and two son that live in Wisconsin.
During their retired years they have enjoyed all the time they have together. They are thankful for their independence, making new friends and settling into the Goldton family. They have made many new friends, they both enjoy helping out and have worked diligently on organizing and cleaning our Creative Arts Center, and keeping Emory Library neat and accessible for all book lovers.
In their pass time the like cards, puzzles and making new friends. Chuck is a Veteran and hopes to see you all during the Veterans group.

Gene Baron

Assisted Living

Can you believe that Gene is is going to be 104 in September! He has traveled many miles around the sun. Some being in active duty for the AirForce as a gunny and communications expert. He has also traveled around the world for pleasure and has fond memories of Mexico where he enjoyed the ambiance of the many cities he has visited.
Gene had been married for over 72 years before his wife passed away – so now in his senior years he enjoys loving on his 8 children and 14 grandchildren. (Thank goodness we have Speak 2 to stay in touch with everyone.) Genre is a left handed golfer and won the left handed golf championship. Want to see and hear all of his wisdom ,challenge him to a game of chess, which he thoroughly loves to play.

JoDe Angelo

Memory Care

Born in Hatai, Mimose came to the United States at a young age. She speaks both English and Creole and has enjoyed taking care of seniors for many years of her life.
Mimose is married and has two children, her oldest is 18 and her youngest 8. Both who keep her very busy, on top of all the hard work she puts in at the Goldton. Most everyone will tell you that Mimose is very kind, compassionate and loyal.
When she is not busy she enjoys spending time with her husband. They relax at the beach, go out for dinner and enjoy movies together.
