Our Florida Senior Living Residents of the Month

Judy V

Independent Living

Judy was married to the love of her life for more than 60 years. She knew she wanted a big family and had 5 children and the family just sprouted from there. Now she is a grandmother of 5X’s That looks like – Great, Great, Great, Great, Great grandchildren! WOW! Judy adores each and every one of her family members and cherishes the time she gets to spend with them.
As a professional Judy worked in a factory for 30 plus years. She began in small ways and earned many promotions. She even was a part of an all-male team (Yep, you guessed it she was the best of the best)
Judy loves her family, reading and listening to praise music. Take some time and stop and say hello! You won’t forget and the kind conversations and amazing smile!

Rita H

Assisted Living

Rita has worked for more then 30 years at the telephone company. Starting out as “Operator assistance” when you dialed 0 she quickly moved into moving the wires and cables to connect calls. She loved her job with great passion.
She loves the Goldton and has the greatest compliments for the staff that work so hard helping her and just being a friend. She notes that life has been a blessing and she wouldn’t have changed a thing. She also notes that at this age she fears nothing. As she looks up and said, my mother lived to 101.

Phyllis H

Memory Care

Ms. Phyllis was a reporter for a newspaper up on the east coast for 15 years. She loved dearly with every fiber just to go out into the field to get the next scoop. She was always connected to her community and appreciated being apart of their daily life.
Phyllis loves to do crossword puzzles; it’s her morning challenge to complete every question. She also loves to nibble on some chocolate cake with a nice chocolate frosting (because you know they never get enough chocolate)
Phyllis has one wish, that would be for people to take more interest and appreciate their local paper because reporters try so hard to make it as air as they can.
Additionally, Phyllis has two amazing and beautiful daughters and her favorite black and white cat. Please stop in and say hello!
