The Goldton at Venice Residents to Celebrate 66 Years of Love with a Heartfelt Vow Renewal

Venice, FL — October 2025 — Love stories come in many forms, but some shine brighter with time. This October 25th, The Goldton at Venice will host a truly special celebration as residents Mike and Carol Suponcic renew their wedding vows on the occasion of their 66th anniversary.

What makes their journey extraordinary is not only the years they’ve shared, but the way they’ve chosen to honor it. This will be their third ceremony together, after eloping as high school sweethearts, later marrying in a traditional church wedding, and now recommitting their love in a vow renewal surrounded by family, friends, and the Goldton community.

Carol, who now lives in Memory Care, will wear a white dress carefully chosen with her husband, her nails and hair beautifully done for the occasion. Their granddaughter will escort her from Memory Care to the ceremony space, where Mike will take her hand and walk her down the aisle to live piano music performed by volunteer Mary. Flowers provided by Academy Director Meredith Nykamp, who will also officiate, will add a personal and elegant touch. Following the ceremony, guests will enjoy a celebratory brunch prepared by Chef Cait in Palmer’s.
