Tom has lived a wonderful<br>and interesting life filled with family, friendship, dancing, travel, and plenty of memorable moments.<br>Originally from New Jersey, Tom spent his career as a salesman for International Paper, traveling<br>throughout New Jersey and New York. When he wasn&#8217;t working, Tom treasured time with his wife, Margaret,<br>and their three children. Today, his family has grown to include 12 grandchildren and 13 great<br>grandchildren, giving him an incredible family legacy to be proud of.<\/p><p>After Margaret passed away, Tom met June G. from the Bronx at a bereavement support group in 1993.<br>What began as a friendship blossomed into a beautiful relationship centered around companionship and<br>their shared love of dancing. Tom and June took dancing lessons together and enjoyed going out dancing<br>five to six nights a week!<\/p><p>In 1994, while visiting family in Florida, Tom discovered a home he loved on a golf course. Although he<br>wasn&#8217;t an avid golfer, he knew he had found a place he could call home. His journey eventually brought him<br>to Port St. Lucie, and later to The Goldton at Stuart, where he is now proud to call home.<br>When Tom was asked if he had lived a good life, his answer was simple and heartfelt: \u201cI was fortunate.<br>Everyone has regrets, but as Sinatra sings, \u2018I Did It My Way.\u2019\u201d<\/p><p>Tom&#8217;s story is one of family, resilience, friendship, adventure, and living life on his own terms. We are<br>honored to celebrate Tom and all the wonderful experiences that have made him the remarkable person he<br>is today.<\/p><p>Congratulations, Tom Baker, on being our Resident of the
