My name is Dolores Salazar or as some call me Lola I am the Executive Director here at The Goldton. I have worked for this community for the past 6 years; I was originally the Business Office Manager but recently got promoted by Atlas as the new Executive Director. I have lived here in St. Petersburg, FL all my life, I have 2 beautiful kids ages 9 and 13 years old. I love to spend my free time with my kids, family, and friends. I enjoy ATVing, going to amusement parks, and relaxing by the beach. Rachel Dominy is the Director of Sales and Marketing at The Goldton at St. Petersburg. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with residents and their families, taking the time to truly get to know them while helping each individual find a place they are proud to call home. Originally from Ohio, but moved to St. Petersburg in 2016. Alexis joined Atlas Senior Living in 2019 and shortly after was promoted to Business Office Coordinator at Legacy Ridge Trussville. Alexis remained at Legacy Ridge Trussville until 2025, building strong relationships, helping ensure smooth day-today- operations, and serving residents, families, and team members. Alexis was promoted as the Business Office Specialist in June of 2025, expanding her role to support multiple Atlas communities across Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. Madison is the Wellness Director, where she oversees resident care and leads the nursing team with a strong commitment to quality, compassion, and excellence. She is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for both residents and staff. Originally from New York, Madison has called Florida home since 2019 and earned her nursing degree from Galen College of Nursing. Outside of work, she enjoys relaxing at the beach or pool and spending time with her beloved French bulldog and cat. I graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelors of science in Sports & Leisure studies. \u00a0After relocating from Ohio to Florida, I joined the Goldton at St. Petersburg. My passion for working with seniors began after college while working in recreation and helping at one of the senior recreation centers. My areas of expertise focus on resident engagement and building a sense of community while providing various events and activities for our residents. Sam belonged to one of our former residents that had passed away in early 2023. The family was unable to take the cat and he was going to have to go to a shelter. That is when we stepped in and decided to keep him as our community cat. Once Sam had free roaming of the entire building, he quickly became adored by all of the residents.<\/p>

He loves going outside and sitting in the shade in the gazebo. He is often found nuzzled up with residents or napping on their laps. In April 2024 Sam got very sick and needed antibiotics and pain medicine for 10 days. He had pancreatitis. All of the resident and family members were very worried about him during that time. He made a full recovery and was ready to roam the grounds again.<\/p>

Recently during a fire drill, Sam joined the residents in the gazebo as they evacuated letting everyone pet him and purring for them!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
